So yeah it’s been a while since we’ve updated the site. Wondering if Amy is EVER going to post. Who knows. Anyways I’m working again. Was only out of work for a month. Doing a contract job through a staffing agency. The pay is great and it’s Monday - Friday so that’s nice. Working 8-5 too so I can’t complain. Sure I liked getting off at 3 when I was at my old job but I had to work on Sundays so that blew. It’s an interesting job to say the least. Definitely nothing I’ve ever done before that’s for sure. Don’t wanna discuss too many details about it but those of you who know me in real life know what the job is and who it’s with.
Kaylee’s 5th birthday was this past Sunday May 13th. Had a nice little get together for her on Saturday. Amy’s mom and dad came up as did her grandma. Her aunt and uncle were also there with their little one Hannah. Cute as always. Grilled some hamburgers (Vernsized ones) and weenies. Just had a good fun family gathering.
Amy was on vacation last week so she did alot around the house and outside. She mowed some and did some yard stuff. Got all the river rock out from around the air conditioner. Just need to even it out and lay down some brick so it’s nice and even. Already looks alot better. We are hoping to get a garden going this year. It looks like we may have to just get it ready and then actually do some planting next year as it’s getting past time for alot of the stuff we want to plant already. We are planning on taking out the swing set (the kids rarely ever use it anymore) and putting the garden up in that area. My neighbor Robert said that’s where it used to be years ago with a few previous owners ago. We wanna plant alot of veggies since Amy and I love salads. We hope to get some tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, lettuce, carrots, etc. growing. Will definitely save us some money.
