Some People

October 8th, 2008 | No Comments | Posted in Harold

You know there is always that one person you work with that you can’t stand. The one that drives you crazy and makes you want to stab your eyeballs out with a sharpened pencil. We’ve all had to work with this person. Sometimes their male. Sometimes their female. But either one is always the same.

I work with such a person. This person will remain nameless and genderless to protect the guilty….I mean innocent (right?). This person started out nice. They were friendly, treated me nice, showed
me the ropes, warned me what not to do/say, etc. I work with this person everyday. Hell I sit in a cube across from them. They even had a half wall installed between our cubicles so we could communicate easier. Things were fine for a while. Then this person turned on me. Hardcore style.

This person has a stressful life (so they say) at home and apparently I’m their punching bag now. They have kids, husband, drama, etc. at home just like most of us do. They just choose to bring it all to work it seems.

It seems like the you know what started to hit the fan around the end of August. That is when we let our manager go that had only been here 3 months. I mentioned after we found this out that I figured something was up because I’d seen this manager in the HR department and then saw his boss in there the following day. This somehow turned into “Harold said he was told by a little birdie that such and such was getting canned” or some BS like that. Of course those words never came out of my mouth. I mean come on. Do I seem like the person that would say “a little birdie told me” HAHA! Riiiiiiiiiiiight. So my coworker decides they must tell our boss (the one we had before the former manager was brought on) this.

Ever since this happened it just seems like the storm has been raging with my coworker. Seems like everything sets her off. Can’t go into specifics but it’s about to hit a breaking point.

Anyways just needed to vent and get this off my chest. Talk to you all later. Peace.

Technology

Isnt technology friggin amazing? I’m sitting here at the doctor’s office waiting to take Kaylee back and writing a blog using my iPod Touch connected to the hospital’s wireless network. Amy just got a PDA so she can keep stuff organized plus it too can get on the Internet. Never would have imagined an iPod would be able to get online when they first came out years ago. Anyways I’m gonna get off here now. Peace.

So I’ve been here at my job now for one year officially today. Wow. Doesn’t seem like it’s been a year already. Two years of marriage have flew by as well. Love my wife so much. I cherish her and I love David and Kaylee like they are my own. My worl dwould crumble if they weren’t around. I may not call everyone like I should (Sorry Mom. Sorry Dad), but I still think about you all everyday. I miss you alot Dad. I haven’t seen you in a couple years now and I miss you so much. Hopefully soon we can make it down there to visit. Anyways just wanted to write something up here. Love you all.

Hey There Strangers

Ok first things first. Sorry it’s been so long since I wrote on here. My fault and I’ll try not to let such a big gap develop from now on. I really wish Amy would write on here though. She’s just not a writer I guess.

So anyways as you noticed I changed the site again. I’ve added more random photos to the side. I also added our pictures from our Branson, MO trip this summer. Check out the Branson Gallery to see the pics.

That’s all for now.

Ouch, My Chin

February 27th, 2008 | 1 Comment | Posted in Harold

I have to be careful when I yawn. Sometimes, when I yawn wide, one particular muscle in my chin locks up/cramps, exactly like a charlie horse in your foot. It’s quite painful, and it takes like 5-10 seconds to make it uncramp (and panic that it will stay that way!).

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone else who has this same problem. It recurrs every once in a while - it’s definitely something that happens to me every now and then, not just a freak occurrence.

So yeah. I just thought I’d like to share another little weird thing about me. And it just happened and I wanted to write/talk about it.
